Manchester City have granted Argentine Carlos Tevez an extension on his South American holiday. The striker was supposed to return to training on Thursday 4th August but he will now return on Monday the 8th, which means he will miss the Community Shield clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
The late arrival of Carlos would should spark added speculation about the future of the Argentine, but City and Tevez have both confirmed that the documented return date for Tevez was in fact the 8th.
This will surely result in more speculation about the future of Tevez and there will be added speculation about a move to Inter Milan, as they look like the only option for Tevez this Summer. Tevez, due to his holiday in South America missed today's open training session at the Etihad Stadium, as did Sergio Aguero due to illness.
However, we must remember that Carlos is still a City player and that he will return to training on Monday and there could still be a future for the striker in England.
